Introduction
The GRAS PR0002 Array module is a mounting rail which allows array microphones GRAS 40PH & 40PL to be spaced at intervals of 25 mm, 50 mm, 75 mm, 100 mm etc. i.e. it has 23 microphone positions spaced 25 mm. The PR0002 is delivered with 8 microphone holders. Additional microphone holders can be purchased (GRAS RA0185).
In case you wish to equip the rail with 1/4" standard microphone sets (typically GRAS 46BE), then use the GRAS RA0245 microphone holders instead of the GR0185.
It is possible to extend the array horizontally and vertically to obtain a bigger array. The array microphones are provided with SMB connectors to which cables are run directly. Regarding the selection of cables and Power Modules, see 40PH and 40PL.
