In spring 2020, GRAS Sound & Vibration joined the Battery Ventures’ portfolio alongside US-based Audio Precision, bringing together two great brands into one platform
As part of bringing these two brands together into one of the world’s strongest portfolios for acoustic sensors and audio measurement, we are now offering all GRAS products through Audio Precision UK Ltd, alongside our AP audio testing suite within the United Kingdom.
We are incredibly excited to continue supplying our customers with market leading measurement microphones and equally enthusiastic to help new engineers and technicians via collaboration with Audio Precision. We will remain at the forefront of your acoustic testing requirements and welcome the opportunity to continue to meet your application needs.

Philippa joined GRAS UK in 2017 and has worked with customers across a broad range of industries, from aerospace to consumer electronics, to provide them with the optimum test solutions for their application. She brings considerable business development expertise to her role having worked in advertising sales during her early career and later as a Business Development Manager at Cromwell Tools selling a large portfolio of engineering products. Very much a people person, Philippa spent four years in Ho Minh City, Vietnam where she taught English as a foreign language before returning to the UK and joining the GRAS UK team.
Philippa plays a key role in the UK sales team, looking after both new and existing accounts, as well as coordinating marketing activities and events.

James is a British test and measurement engineer with over 20 years’ experience of designing custom automated test solutions for a variety of manufacturers in the audio industry, mainly using AP audio analysers.
Before joining Audio Precision, James worked for companies including ARCAM, where he helped to develop the first ever functional ‘bed of nails’ testing facilities using AP analysers. Moreover, he worked for TAG McLaren Audio and International Audio Group (IAG), where he served as Head of Engineering in both Cambridgeshire and Shenzhen, China. Prior to leaving IAG, he designed automated test facilities for the manufacturing groups of Quad, Wharfedale, Mission and AudioLab.

Victoria joined the UK team in November 2020. With 20+ years’ experience of office and customer account management, she is a great asset to the team.
