Support & Application Engineer (Global Support)

Job Summary: As part of the Axiometrix Solutions Global Support Team for the two brands Audio Precision and GRAS Sound &Vibration will you as a Global Support and Application Engineer be responsible for helping and supporting our customers and distributor network with technical related issues both in the pre-sales phase as well as the aftersales phase.

About You: You have a few years of experience as an engineer, either as an electronic/audio engineer with interest for acoustic or as an acoustical engineer with interest for electronics/audio. In both cases is it very importance that you have an interest in measurement technique, are openminded and driven by helping others.

You are fascinated by technology and motivated in spreading your knowledge amounts other either via technical articles, by technical courses or in the day-to-day communications with customers.

Your goals are:

  • To perform state of the art support to our customers and partners.
  • To establish good relations to our customers and partners
  • To be a part of a highly technology driven organization, with audio and acoustic in focus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • On a day to day basic solve the incoming enquiry from our customers and partners
  • Create new technical literature, such as application notes, technical notes, etc. in close corporation with our marketing team
  • Create training material
  • Participate in technical courses for customers and partners
  • Do customer visit mainly in coordination with our sales organization
  • Participate in exhibitions and technical conferences in close coordination with our sales organization.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Recently graduated or with a few years of experience as engineer
  • Knowledge to electronic engineering
  • Knowledge in acoustic
  • Knowledge in audio engineering
  • Knowledge in mearing technique
  • Brilliant communication skills and likes technical writting
  • Experienced user of Microsoft office (Excel – Word – PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, desired
  • English language fluency

Job Location: Beaverton, OR or Michigan, MI

We offer: You will be member of a very international team, with collogue in US, UK, DK and China. We are a flat and very unformal organization, with a very high degree of freedom. Training is existential for us, before meeting our customers and partners will you be trained in our products, applications and solutions. Some traveling activities must be expected.

Support & Application Engineer

Would you like to help and support a global network of customers and distributors? Do you thrive on providing top-notch technical assistance to major brands worldwide?

In the position as Support & Application Engineer you will join a team of support professionals located in Denmark, UK, and the USA. Your working hours will align with the standard working hours in Denmark, and you will have the opportunity to work from the office in Holte or from your home office - ensuring that customers receive the necessary assistance with their inquiries.

In the position you will refer to Ole Theilgaard, Director of Support and Application, who along with the rest of the team, looks forward to welcoming their new colleague. 

You are a person driven by: 

  • Providing state-of-the-art support to customers and partners.
  • Establishing strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Being part of a highly technology-driven organization with a focus on audio and acoustics. 

You love to share your technical knowledge and… 

  • On a day to day basic solve incoming enquiries (often by mail) from customers and partners.
  • Collaborate closely with our marketing team to create new technical literature, such as application notes and technical guides.
  • Participate in technical courses for customers and partners.
  • Conduct customer visits primarily in coordination with the sales organization.
  • Participating in exhibitions and technical conferences in close coordination with the sales organization.
  • Developing training materials.

During the week, you will have two to three fixed support days, where you will be responsible for assisting customers with their challenges. The rest of the week will be covered by your colleagues in the UK. And the USA takes over in the late afternoons. This will allows you to deep dive into the technology and other areas that are relevant for the position.

 About You: 

  • You have a few years of experience as an engineer, either as an electronic/audio engineer with interest for acoustic or as an acoustical engineer with interest for electronics/audio. In both cases, it is crucial that you have an interest in measurement techniques, are open-minded, and are driven to help others.
  • You are fascinated by technology and motivated to share your knowledge through technical articles, courses, or day-to-day communications with customers.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for technical writing. Fluent in English.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft office (Excel – Word – PowerPoint).

Training is essential for us; before meeting customers and partners, you will receive training on products, applications, and solutions.

Vi søger en engageret og proaktiv kollega til vores Production Engineering afdeling, der primært vil være ansvarlig for udarbejdelse af arbejdsinstruktioner. Den rette kandidat vil arbejde tæt sammen med vores operatører for at sikre, at deres uvurderlige viden integreres i instruktionerne.

Du kommer til at arbejde i en flad organisation med principper, der bygger på empati, troværdighed og tillid. Du bliver en del af et lille team i en organisation med ca. 120 medarbejdere, hvor tillid er nøgleordet. Du skal derfor trives med at arbejde selvstændigt og have et stort engagement og drivkraft til det, du beskæftiger dig med.

 

Ansvarsområder:

· Skrive og opdatere arbejdsinstruktioner i samarbejde med operatører og ledelse.

· Arbejde tæt sammen med operatørerne for at indsamle og integrere deres operationelle viden i instruktionerne.

· Tilegne sig viden om og anvende vores nye kvalitetssystem, Grand Avenue Software (GAS).

 

Kvalifikationer:

· Du kan arbejde metodisk og struktureret og evner at arbejde tæt sammen med forskellige faglige teams, især operatører.

· Middel IT-viden til at kunne navigere og arbejde med systemer til udarbejdelse af instruktioner. Her er Word og billed- og videoredigering to vigtige redskaber.

· Evnen til at kommunikere klart og flydende på dansk, både skriftligt og mundtligt. Herudover er det en fordel hvis du også taler engelsk.

· Erfaring med lignende arbejde i en teknisk virksomhed
