KEMAR is a hit in Japan
CEAR uses KEMAR to reduce time to market and development costs for Japanese audio device manufacturers. 
Challenge: Audio device manufacturers seeking Snapdragon Sound certification need to undergo and pass a series of tests to qualify for the Snapdragon Sound badge on their products. For Japanese audio device manufacturers, getting the Snapdragon Sound certification was an extra challenge. The closest test facility was in Taiwan. Shipping their products to Taiwan for testing was both costly and time consuming. This led to increased time to market, and increased production costs – and ultimately reduced competitive.
