The RA0002 is a 90-degree right-angle adjustable adapter designed for use with a 1/2" measurement microphone and a 1/4" preamplifier. It is compatible with any standard 1/2" microphone and 1/4" preamplifier, such as the GRAS 40AO microphone and 26CB preamplifier. The RA0002 allows free rotation, enabling users to adjust the orientation of the preamplifier and cable without disrupting the connection between the microphone and preamplifier.

Introduction
The GRAS RA0002 is a 90-degree right-angle adapter designed for use with a 1/2" measurement microphone and a 1/4" preamplifier. It allows full 360-degree rotation in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions, making it ideal for applications where the microphone remains fixed, but the preamplifier needs to be adjusted—either to fit within a confined space or to position the cables as needed.
Below is an example of the RA0002 being used as an interface between a GRAS 40AG microphone capsule (mounted inside a 711-style ear simulator) and a 1/4" 26CS preamplifier, integrated into the GRAS 45CC Acoustics Test Fixture.
