Microphone sets with constant current power (CCP)
The constant current power (CCP) microphone sets use high-quality coaxial cables. Some sets have a 3 m cable included and others have cables as accessories. It should be noted that longer cables will influence the upper frequency and dynamic ranges.
All GRAS microphone sets are delivered as a unit and are calibrated accordingly. The sets are delivered with calibration charts including sensitivity values and frequency response curves for the complete set. The sensitivity value can therefore be used directly in your system setup. Besides the CCP variant, GRAS microphone sets are available with 7-pin LEMO input.
For frequent verification of the measurement chain, a sound source will be required. GRAS supplies a series of pistonphones and sound calibrators for this purpose. Depending on the use (field or laboratory) and your internal quality control requirements, we recommend that the sets are recalibrated at least every second year. Contact your GRAS partner for factory and accredited calibration options.

The GRAS 146AE is a 1/2" free-field measurement microphone set for measurements in extreme environments. It is terminated with a BNC connector and is optimzed for use under rough conditions at temperatures from -40 to 125°C. It provides accurate data under the most challenging conditions - it can resist shock, vibration, water, dust and extreme temperatures.
